| Advantages | The game reviews a commonly used set of conversation phrases. The series of questions, down the snakes neck, follow naturally through. Students also like talking about movies. |
| Disadvantages | Though students switch roles, the conversation form is one sided. That is, one student is asking question while their partner is answering. |
How to Play
- The way to play is basically the same as the standard Snake Questions game, however when practicing the language you will probably need to refer to the second page and check understanding of the vocabulary.
- Tell each student to circle their favourite kind of movie and write down their favourite movie and actor. They will use these answers during the interview game.
Tip
- When playing the interview game it's a good idea to break it up a bit to make it more fun.
- I give each student a number card.
- I set an egg time for 3 minutes and tell the students to begin the interview game.
- After each interview they swap numbers and find a new partner.
- At the end of 3 minutes they all sit down and I call out 2 numbers randomly.
- These two students then have to perform the interview in front of the class.
- They get a sticker for their effort.
- I set the egg timer again and repeat the exercise.
- They should be able to do the conversation without looking at their worksheet by the end of the lesson.
