| Disadvantages | Not all students like doing skits in front of the class. You can break the class up into smaller groups to perform in front of to help break down these barriers. |
Activity Preparation
- Hand out Comic 1 and Comic 2.
- Read the comics through together as a class.
- Check understanding, translate if necessary.
- Read again.
The Activity
- Tell the students they are going to memorize one skit and perform it in front of a small group.
- Tell them to make pairs, choose a skit and practice it.
- When you think they are ready, tell them to make larger groups (6-8).
- Pairs perform their skits in order in front of their groups.
- You can give the students some kind of grading worksheet to fill out if you like.
An aching tongue is better than ground back teeth.
