Welcome to "English According to Blue Jeans Egg.
This site contains suggested curriculums for ESL students (students of English as a Second Language) in
Primary (Elementary) School and Junior High School.
Within the curriculums there are links to resources which may be used by teachers and students of ESL.
I have been based, and teaching Conversational English to students of all ages, in Japan since 2004. In 2008 I began working as an
ALT in Primary (Elementary) Schools and Junior High Schools.
I began to build this site in 2009 as a means consolidating the information and resources I had, and continue to build up. I would also like to communicate with other ESL educators.
I am slowly downloading information and resources as time permits. All of the printable materials on this site are my own original works.
You are free to use them if you find them useful, but please first read and respect the End User Agreement.
When I was teaching adults, I wasn't producing original materials, so for the time being, this area is not well covered on this web site.
You may however find some materials useful.
As I live and work in Japan, there are many references throughout this site which relate specifically to ESL in Japan.
You will notice, for example, that the curriculums for Primary and Junior High School centered around Japanese School Curriculums.
I hope however that the resources available from this site will be useful to educators from around the world.
